Residency House Rules

1. No abusive behaviour towards others. This will lead to removal from the house with no refund.

2. Inclusivity is required. Racist, homophobic, or sexist behaviours will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the house with no refund.

3. Don’t use each other's things without permission.

4. Quiet time is from 10:30 pm to 8:00 am.

5. No guests.

6. Please do not wear outdoor shoes in the house (slippers or indoor shoes are allowed).

7. Please be respectful to neighbours and community members.

8. Clean dishes after each meal.

9. Keep your bedroom and workspace tidy.

10. No smoking or vaping in the house.

11. No illegal drugs.

12. Keep the house locked when not home.

13. Feel free to use basic house supplies, but please replace (other than toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and soap)

15. Only flush toilet paper down the toilets. Everything else should go in the garbage.

16. Follow the recycling and composting pick-up day schedule on the sheet in the kitchen.

17. Lights should be turned off, and baseboard heaters should be reduced or turned off when not in the room.

18. The residency receives professional cleaning services twice a month, but artists are expected to maintain a relatively clean and tidy house for one another. This includes sweeping, keeping counters and stoves clean, and basic tidiness.
